CHERMSIDE: Five weeks after opening, the word is starting to spread about Chermside business Mystique.
Owners Patrick Donohue and Andy Tuumagu have combined a fashion boutique with a hairdressing and beauty service.
Mr Donohue said he was happy with the way his business had established itself so far.
``Our target audience is people aged 18-35. I think this is something that is needed in the area,’’ hesaid.
Mr Donohue said his business had been marketed as the first to combine fashion and beauty services and he believed he was the only business on Brisbane’s northside to provide such a range.
He said the shop employed eight staff including sales assistants, hairdressers and beauty therapists.
``We cater for all elements of lifestyle, including women and men’s clothing, hair, beauty and spray tanning,’’ Mr Donohue said.
``All these elements are interactive and not divided up into sections, so you get all the services in one.’‘
The store has been built with comfort in mind, aseach ``style station’’ hasits own television with remote access to fashion media.
Mystique is at 832 Gympie Rd, Chermside.
